Hi Charlie, just found your website and love it. I don’t know anything about Marimba’s but my granddaughter after several years of Piano and the Flute in Jr. High band is going into High School drum line this year. She loves the Marimba. Every year on her birthday I make her something to put on her doorstep. I sure would like to surprise her with a homemade Marimba. I have seen several web sites that will sell me plans of different sizes and materials. My question to you is what would be a good size for home? I don’t really know enough to ask all the right questions so any thoughts you can give me would be appreciated. Except for the tuning I feel comfortable making one. Thank you Gary Mills BTW, you do a great job on your video’s.

Hello sir, I have seen your videos for about half of my marching season and I have learned a lot. I am currently a junior, and I have been looking at the 6-mallet grip and I would like to know if there are any exercises that would help me with it. If you can send me a link to them that would be great. Thank you.
